This five-day canyoneering expedition in North Wash immerses students in stunning desert canyon systems through technical descents, intentional silence, shared responsibility, and spiritual reflection.To end the trip, we escape the desert heat and head to the mountains of Colorado for a via ferrata experience in Ouray’s Box Canyon and a final night camping in the San Juan Mountains.Primary activities include canyoneering, camping, a Green River water day, and via ferrata. Itinerary may shift based on weather, group needs, or conditions.

  • 5 days / 4 nights of camping, technical canyoneering, and team-based adventure

Are there any experience requirements?

No prior canyoneering experience required. Willingness to be challenged, unplug, and participate in group responsibilities and Bible discussion.

Are there any Fitness requirements?

Participants should be prepared for hiking on uneven desert terrain, carrying personal and group gear, rappelling and navigating technical canyon features, hot daytime temperatures and cool nights, plus a full-day via ferrata and hiking in the mountains.
